English Tutor
Are you an English Teaching Assistant, or a qualified English Teacher, looking to tutor students through the KS3 & KS4 curriculum?
*** English Tutor
*** If you’re a TA - £80-£110 per day
*** If you’re a Teacher - £130 - £200 per day
*** Immediate start until July (possibly into the new academic year)
*** 1:1 and small group support to English students with SEN requirements

Position Overview: They are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Tutor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require extra assistance in English, providing tailored support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students struggling with English concepts.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized learning plans.
  • Support classroom teachers by reinforcing lesson materials and facilitating discussions.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student growth and development.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement effective teaching practices.
  • For Teaching Assistant role: Previous experience working with students in an educational setting preferred, particularly in English support.
  • For Qualified Teacher role: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
