*** £300 - £400 per week
*** 2-Form Entry primary school in Hall Green
*** 1:1 and small group assistance to a Year 3 class

The school are in search of a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to become part of a successful team of teaching and support staff. This position will predominantly involve providing 1:1 and small group support to a Year 3 class comprising 24 children, aiding in their learning and progression.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group assistance to students within the Year 3 cohort.
  • Aid in the planning and preparation of educational materials and resources, ensuring they are both engaging and suitable for each student's requirements.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning setting, encouraging a passion for learning and bolstering confidence in all students.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to monitor and assess student advancement, delivering regular feedback and updates.
  • Establish strong, positive connections with students, parents, and colleagues to establish a cohesive learning community.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school environment is advantageous but not obligatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with both students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and growth.
  • A proactive approach to adapting and tailoring assistance to address the diverse needs of students.
