The ideal candidate will have some experience supporting SEN students and have the skillset to deal with challenging behaviour. The SEN Teaching Assistant must be able to encourage the students to stay on task as well as remaining engaged in the lessons. The role is to support English with up to 4 students 1-2-1 and within small group work.
 
The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant is at an Ofsted ‘Good’ school where you will be supported by an extremely out-going head teacher who has been with the school for over 4 years and has had a dramatic change on the schools’ results and reputation.

This role is to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year. It’s Monday to Friday (term-time only) and pays £80 to £100 per day.
