The role of an English ECT at this fantastic secondary school in Wolverhampton is to support KS4 students in preparations for their GCSE exams. As an English ECT you will be expected to plan lessons for English literature as well as language, having the knowledge of exam techniques that will gain the students additional marks.
As an English ECT you will receive brilliant support from the Head of English who ensures that each member of staff within the English department has the necessary equipment to complete lessons to a high standard. With a department that expects brilliant results, this is a really exciting role for an English ECT.
The school is located just outside Wolverhampton city centre and can be reached by public transport directly from the city centre, the headteacher has been with this school for many years and has worked tirelessly to achieve a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, which they did in 2021.
